He was a roofer, a member of the Pilgrim United Church of Christ, and a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army, and a member of VFW Post #7570 Harrison.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Mullins Anders. Devoted father of William Bowman (Linda). Dear brother of Dorothy Anders, Mildred Lischeid & the late Martha Bevis. Uncle of Alfred Niederhelman. Loving grandfather of Tracey Rahm, John Bowman, Jamie Fuechter, Daniel & Chuck Bowman, Michelle & Aaron Doerflein & Bart Rogers. Gr. grandfather of Alayna, Kendra & Daniel Rahm; Monica, Josh & Sean Bowman; Lauren, Sarah, Joseph & Danielle Fuechter; Maria Rose & Daniel Bowman; Ryan & Jessica Towle; Milea & Carlie Chandler; Wyatt & Lilly Doerflein; Ava & Sophia Rogers. Gr. Gr. Grandfather of Joey & Riley Rose Fuechter.
Visitation Wed., Oct. 22, 6-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, Cleves, where the service will be held Thurs., Oct. 23 at 10 AM. Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. Memorials to Hospice of Cinti.
