Albert E. Deffinger, 88, of Miami Heights, died on Dec. 20, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a retired welder in commercial construction, a US Army veteran of WWII & member of the Addyston Baptist Church.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred L. Kettermann Deffinger, the devoted father of Linda C. (John) Dahlheimer, Albert W. (Paulette) & Robert R. (Tena) Deffinger, the loving grandfather of 8 & gr. grandfather of 5 & the dear brother of Florence Harris, Ray & the late Helen, Earl, Richard, Fred & Carl Deffinger; Lillian Leihgeber, Wilma Smoot & Annabelle Bergman.
Visitation Tues., Dec. 22, 7-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Wed., Dec. 23 at 11 AM. Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to the Addyston Baptist Church.
