Burton, Bernard C., 93, formerly of Miami Township, resident of Okeana, died on Sept. 7,2007, at Hospice of Cinti. at Mercy Hosp., W.H.C.
He was a crane operator, a member of Cornerstone Christian Church, a former member and Sunday School Superintendent of Cleves Church of Christ, and a member of the Ohio and Intl. Operator Engineers for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Marlene L. Meyer Burton, by his children Janice Pellman (Paul), Donald Burton, Lois White, Bill Burton, and Lowell Burton (Bonnie), by his stepson Eric Grubbs, by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by his sister Bernadine "Tad" Terry.
He was preceded in death by 2 children Bernard Burton Jr. and Marlene Early, and by 7 siblings.
Visitation was 5-8PM on Sept. 10,2007, with funeral services on Sept. 11,2007, at 10AM, at the Dennis George Funeral Home, Cleves, with interment following in Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Dearborn County, IN.
