Beverly Simmons, beloved wife of Richard Jessup, passed away on October 17, 2022. Beverly
was born on January 14, 1950 in Renton, Washington to Charles E. Simmons and Nellie Mae
(Carter) Simmons. She lived most of her life in the Seattle area and relocated with her husband
to Loveland, Ohio in 2013. She is survived by her husband Richard Jessup of Loveland, Ohio;
her sister Shirley Graffmiller of Spokane, Washington; her brother-in-law Robert (Faith) Jessup
of Whidbey Island, Washington and their children Molly and Chris Jessup; her cousin Jacob Carter and wife Sue and their sons Dan, Tim and Ben (Susan) Carter; her cousin Ellen “Cookie” (Carter) Garrett and husband Douglas and their children Chris (Ashley) Garrett and Megan (Doug) Burkey; and Rhonda Carter, widow of Beverly’s cousin Charles Carter, and their children Chuck (Kristen) Carter, Rebecca Carter Lindsley, and Andy (Kati) Carter.
Beverly also leaves behind many wonderful friends who have been so welcoming to her and
Richard after they moved to Loveland. Beverly was a great lover of animals, particularly dogs,
and adopted several rescues during her life. She was a generous, kind hearted and loving
person who will be sorely missed by her husband, family and friends.
