Obituary-Robert Tatgenhorst
C. Robert Tatgenhorst, 89, of College Hill, formerly of Westwood, died at his residence on Jan. 17, 2008. He was a retired attorney & educator, a US Army veteran of the Counter Intelligence Corp in WWII, and a member of the Westwood United Methodist Church, the Western Hills-Cheviot Lodge #140 F&AM, the Scottish Rite, the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis Club & the Dartmouth Club. He had formerly served as an Asst. Atty. General of the state of OH, an assoc. in the law firm Taft, Stettinius & Hollister (Cinti.), a partner in the firm Tatgenhorst & Bruestle (Cinti.), & an Adj. prof. of law at Chase Col. of Law (NKU).
He is survived by his wife Louise Thompson Tatgenhorst, by his 4 sons David (Catherine), John (Connie), James (Anne) & Richard (Phyllis) Tatgenhorst & by his grandchildren Elijah, Jim, Rob, Helena, Sarah, Bennett, Nicholas & Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Clara (Strebel) Tatgenhorst.
Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service Mon., Jan. 21, 11 AM at the Westwood United Methodist Church, Epworth & Urwiler, Cinti.
