Charles Raymond Deffinger

Charles \"Ray\" Deffinger, 87, of Miami Township, died on April 26, 2014 at Mercy Health West. He was a retiree of Fernald where he worked as a Chemical Operator, was a WWII US Navy veteran & a member of Grace Covenant Church. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Helen \"Margie\" Cassidy Deffinger, the devoted father of Tim Deffinger (Chris), Darlene Moser (Charles), Rodney & Kim Deffinger & Vic Willoughby (Robin), the loving grandfather of Ryan, Josh, Austin, Wade & Hunter Deffinger & the beloved son of the late William E. & Grace (Wells) Deffinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews & was preceded in death by 11 siblings. Visitation Tues., Apr. 29, 6-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002 where the service will be held Wed., Apr. 30 at 11 AM. Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. Memorials may be directed to Grace Covenant Church, c/o the funeral home.
