Charles A. Jackson, 83, of Bridgetown & a native of Kenton County, KY, died on Aug. 25 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.

He was the founder of Jackson Home Improvement Co., a Purple Heart recipient & veteran of the US Navy in WWII & a member of the following organizations: Wilmington Lodge #362 F&AM, Fiskburg, KY; Syrian Shrine, Scottish Rite of Covington, KY; Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis Club, Military Order of the Purple Heart #3620, Ohio LST/Amphibs & the VFW Post #10380 of Cheviot, OH.

He was the beloved husband of Joyce B. Henke Jackson, the devoted father of Lyn J. Bonhaus (Randy A.), the loving grandfather of Abby L. & Ally N. Bonhaus, the dear son of the late Frank & Mary (Niehoff) Jackson & the dear brother of Wilma Neal, Frank Jackson & Nellie Sipple & brother-in-law of the late Charles Roger Henke. Also survived by nieces & nephews.

Visitation Mon., Aug. 31, 10-11 AM followed by the service at 11 AM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Memorials, if so desired, may be directed to the North Bend United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 98, North Bend, OH 45052. Interment at the convenience of the family in Bridgetown Cemetery.
