Charles P. Merrilees

Charles P. 'Chuck' Merrilees, a resident of North Bend, OH, died at his Fort Myers, FL residence on Nov. 9, 2012. He was the proprietor of Merrilees Hardware Store in Cleves, OH until his retirement. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, a member of Cleves Presbyterian Church, the Miller Stockum Post #485 American Legion & a 70 year member of North Bend Lodge #346 F&AM. He was the beloved husband of the late Jule B. Gaskins Merrilees, the devoted father of Judith Schulte (the late Robert), Phyllis Welsh (John) & Charles S. Merrilees (Peggy), the loving grandfather of 10 including the late Kimberley (nee Schulte) Scott, great grandfather of 19 & great great grandfather of 2, the beloved son of the late John & Mabel (nee Souders) Merrilees & the dear brother of the late Jack Merrilees & Ruth Collins. Visitation Thurs., Nov. 15, 12 noon until time of North Bend Lodge #346 F&AM service at 1:30 PM followed by the funeral service, all at the Cleves Presbyterian Church, 25 E. State Rd., Cleves, OH 45002. Entombment with military honors in Spring Grove Cemetery.
