Chester C. 'Hayshaker' Booth, 89, of Hooven, died on May 25 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.

He was a union carpenter, a US Marine Corps veteran of WWII & a member of First Church of Christ Greendale, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #2 Cincinnati & American Legion Post #199 Harrison, OH.

He was the beloved husband of Mildred L. Hall Booth, the devoted father of Lawanda Corman (Les), Jennifer Booth & Brad Booth (Judy), the loving grandfather of Traci, Rachael, David, Rebecca & Kyle, the gr. grandfather of Ana, Adrian, Crystal, David, Allen, Mallory, Jonathon, Kay, Jeffory & Jordan, the gr. gr. grandfather of Maddison Taylor, the beloved son of the late Frank & Pearl (Chowning) Booth & the dear brother of the late Jeff, Walter, Ruby, Ellen & Pearl. Also survived by many other relatives & friends.

Visitation Tues., May 29, 5-8 PM at the First Church of Christ, 421 Ridge, Greendale, IN 47025 where the service will be held Wed., May 30 at 11 AM. Interment with military honors in Elizabethtown, OH cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the First Church of Christ Greendale Elevator Fund or to the Parkinsons Foundation, c/o the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002.
