Donal M. Griffith

Donal M. Griffith, 83, of North Bend, died on Oct. 12, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital, Western Hills. He was a retired educator, having taught at Dater Junior High School & Western Hills High School in the Cincinnati Public Schools, earned Masters degrees from Michigan State University & the University of Cincinnati; was a member of the North Bend United Methodist Church, the Batavia Lodge of the F&AM, the Scottish Rite, the Sierra Club, the Oxbow, the SW Ohio Conservation Club, the NEA, the OEA, was for 8 years a member of the North Bend Council & was Past President of the Three Rivers Historical Society. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lansdale Griffith, the devoted father of Catherine A. Jones (Daniel), John A. Griffith (Audrey) & the late Gregory M. Griffith, the loving grandfather of Kristin Klemmer (Jeff), Kara Louis (Andrew), Alexandra & Amber Griffith, the great grandfather of Hayden & Zoey & the dear son of the late Alan & Donna (nee Gray) Griffith. Visitation Mon., Oct. 15, 10 AM until time of Scottish Rite Ring Service & funeral service at 11:15 AM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002. Interment following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. Memorials, if so desired, may be directed to the North Bend United Methodist Church, c/o the funeral home.
