Donald Cook

Donald Cook, 84, died at his Miami Township residence on June 1, 2014. He was a retiree of National Lead, a US Army veteran of the Korean War & a member of the American Legion Post #199, the AmVets & the VFW Post #7570, all of Harrison, OH. He was the beloved husband of Delores Patrick Cook & the late Pauline Phelen Cook, the devoted father of Donald James Cook (Dorothy), Margaret Ann Cook, Holly Rena Noel (Brian), Leslie Dawn Haynie (Steve), Joshua Craig Cook (Melissa) & Damon Luther Cook (Ginger), the beloved son of the late James Luther & Lula Ellen (Stapleton) Cook, the dear brother of Myrtle Rohrer, Christene Hoppes, Mary Jean Schell, Janet Sprague, Joyce Ann Bush; Herschel & the late Rudolph & Raymond Cook & Catherine Hicks, the loving grandfather of Dolly, Pauline, Andy, Denny, Crystal, Bud, Devin, Dylan, Desiree, Dustin, Carson, Morgan, Dawson & Paige & great grandfather of 12. Also survived by a dear cousin, Raymond Hargis & other relatives & friends. Visitation Fri., June 6, 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002. Interment with military honors following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, c/o the funeral home.
