Dorothy E. "Dottie" Troeger (nee Wood), 72, of North Bend, OH & a native of Maysville, KY, died at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati on Jan. 20, 2010.
She was a homemaker & graduate of Western Hills High School, Cincinnati & was a member of the North Bend United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Cleves Womens' Club, the American Water Ski Assn. of which she was senior official judge & was a past president of the Conner School PTA, North Bend, OH.
She was the beloved wife of Ronald C. Troeger, the devoted mother of Dorothy E. "Libby" Van Treese (Jeff) of Sidney, OH, the loving grandmother of Adam, Chris, Ben & Emily Van Treese, the devoted daughter of Florence C. (nee Carter) of Cleves, OH & the late G. Douglas Wood, the dear sister of G. Eugene (Judy) of Perry Park, KY & the late Charles (the late Judy) Wood, the loving aunt of Glen & Jason Wood, Pam Benter & Jan Hills & the dear niece of Harry Carter Jr. (Ellen).
Visitation Sun., Jan. 24, 4-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH. Funeral Mon., Jan. 25, 10 AM at the North Bend United Methodist Church, 121 Symmes, North Bend, OH. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. Memorials, if so desired, to the Dottie Troeger Memorial, c/o American Water Ski Educational Foundation, 1251 Holy Cow Rd., Polk City, FL 33868.
