Edna Adele Mapes, 83, of Hooven, died suddenly on Dec. 22, 2013 at Mercy Health West Hospital. She was a retiree of Seagrams, Lawrenceburg, IN. She was the beloved daughter of the late Emory & Catharine (nee Bachmann) Mapes, the loving sister of Marcella & Emery (Joann) Mapes & the late Agnes (Delmar) Taylor, dear friend of Ernest Montalbo, devoted aunt of Arlene (Michael) Conner, Lois Bradford, Marcie Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Connie (Tom) Hughes, Susan (Larry) Stange, Theresa (Tim) Broering, Emery (Sharon) Mapes III, Cynthia (Russ) Macke, Anthony (Kathy) Mapes, Nancy (Paul) Macke, Joseph Mapes, John (Heather) Mapes, Paul (Meghan) Mapes & 39 great nieces & nephews. Also survived by many other relatives & friends locally & in Texas. Visitation Fri., Dec. 27, 5-7 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves.
