Elwin E. "Gene" Browning, 69, of Addyston, died on Nov. 6 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a journeyman/operator with Thatcher Glass & a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Cleves, the American Federation of Riders, the Boy Scouts of America, the Eagles & the Glass Bottle Blowers Assn.
He was the beloved husband of Martha A. Iles Browning, the devoted father of Robert Browning (Stephanie), Sandra Abbott (Mark) & Chris Browning, the loving grandfather of Jerrica, Tyler, Ethan, Christopher, Izaiha & the late Allison & Mark & gr. grandfather of Jacob, the beloved son of Mary McAdams Swafford & the late Lawson Browning, the dear brother of the late David Swafford (Marian), the dear brother in law of Phillis Garber, Ronald Iles, Marilyn Kunkel, Carl & the late Dennis Iles & the loving uncle of Jeremy & Anna Leah Swafford & many others.
Visitation Tues., Nov. 9, 4:30-8:30 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Wed., Nov. 10 at 10 AM. Memorials to the 1st Baptist Church of Cleves or Hospice of Cincinnati.
