Fred Jackson Cross Jr

August 9, 1961 — January 6, 2024

Miami Township

Fred Jackson Cross Jr., 62, Jan. 6, 2024, Miami Township. Beloved husband of Rebecca “Becky” Cross (nee Oser), devoted father of Samantha Jo Cross (partner Zak Lindner) & Emily Leann Cross, loving grandfather of Sienna Lindner, beloved son of the late Dorothy Eula Mae (nee Cox) & Fred Jackson Cross Sr., dear brother of Diana Dillard (Kevin), also survived by many nieces & nephews. Fred loved his family, fishing & Alabama football (in that order). He throughly loved his Appalachian culture & had a passion for bluegrass/folk music. He also had a deep fondness for hiking, kayaking, Stephen King books & listening to the Rolling Stones. Fred never met a stranger & his social connections stretched up & down route 50 from Sayler Park to his friends in the racing community at the Lawrenceburg Speedway. Most importantly Mr. Fred (Head of Custodial Maintenance for Three Rivers) touched the lives of many children in the Three Rivers School District, showing them love, kindness & compassion. Friends are invited to greet the family for a memorial visitation Wed., Jan. 10, 4 PM – 8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH  45002.  This will be a comfortable atmosphere where children are welcome.
