Freda A. Mullins

Freda Mullins, 71, died peacefully Thursday, May 12th, 2016 at her residence in Harrison, OH. She leaves her daughter Rhonda Moore and husband Delbert; son Ron Ross and wife Renee, granddaughter Kaitlyn and grandson Ian. She is also survived by two siblings, Merle Maples and Lana Burchett. Additionally, she is survived by her very dear, longtime friend Bob Michaud, dearest lifelong friend Fran Nies and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her late husband, George Mullins in 1984, parents, Victor and Ella Maples, and three siblings, Chlola Maples, Aurbin Maples, and Truma Card. Born in Harlan, KY in 1944, a coal miner's daughter, Freda spent her early years in Highsplint, KY. While an adolescent, she and her family moved to Cincinnati, OH. During her life she also lived Harrison, OH, Wabash, IN and Wise, VA. She worked at various jobs including working the last 12 years at Shawneespring of Harrison, OH. Freda enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and spending time with her friends. The family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
