George W. Mohs

October 22, 1926 — January 23, 2008

George W. Mohs, was born in Cincinnati, OH on Oct. 22, 1926 to the late Clifford H. & Beulah J. (Wagner) Mohs & died at his residence in Miami Heights on Jan. 23, 2008 after a long illness, at the age of 81.

He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, former owner of Mohs Plumbing Service & a member of the Oak Hills Kiwanis Club, the Cheviot United Methodist Church & the Otterbein College Alumni Assn.

He was the husband of 58 yrs. of Iris I. Shaffner Mohs, the father of Deborah J. Tursi, Mary Sharon Willoughby & Beverly A. Casey (Ed), the grandfather of Kristine Tursi; Amanda, Brandon & Eric Willoughby; Marie, Jennifer & Alicia Casey & great grandpa of Shayla Casey & brother of the late James A. Mohs.

Graveside services at the convenience of the family in Spring Grove Cemetery on Jan. 26, 2008..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor High School Alumni Scholarship Fund, 92 Cleves Ave., Cleves, OH 45002.
