Beloved husband of Dolores J. “Dolly” Duerk (nee Fackelman), devoted father of Lynn Shidler (Merrill), Tom Duerk (Lisa), Sue Duerk, Jeff Duerk (Jennifer), Scott Duerk & Kristi Dittelberger (Roger), loving grandfather of 16, gr. grandfather of 5, uncle to 11 nieces & nephews. Beloved son of the late Thelma (nee McCormack) & Paul Duerk, dear brother of the late Joan Swartz. Jerry’s memberships include US Army Reserves, Cleves-Three Rivers Kiwanis Club, Kiwanis Aktion Club, past Treasurer & Lt. Governor of Ohio District 6 Kiwanis & member of Knights of Columbus.
