Ida Marriah Brown Bauman 'Doris' (nee Gilliam), 81, of Lockland, OH, died at Birchwood Care Center, Hamilton, OH on October 23, 2014. She had worked in the packaging industry & attended the Lockland Church of Christ. She was the beloved wife of John H. Bauman, the devoted mother of Larry K. Brown (Vickie Gutzwiller Brown) & Timothy M. Brown (Cathy Madden Brown), the loving grandmother of Barbara Waters, Laramie Cooley, Jeremy Lewis & Cheyenne Brown & great grandmother of Layla, Paul, Freedom & Rosa, the beloved daughter of the late James & Clarinda (nee Kidd) Gilliam & the dear sister of John & Leon Gilliam, Mary Syck & the late Maye Burgess, Faye Hobson & Emma 'Kitty' Gilmour. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews & was preceded in death by the father of her sons, Archibald M. Brown. Visitation Mon., Oct. 27, 5-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002, where the service will be held Tues., Oct. 28 at 11 AM. Interment following in Oak Hill Cemetery, Glendale.
