James Sterling Hampton, 75, of Sunman, IN, died on June 8, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati. He was born on Oct. 19, 1936 in Lexington, KY.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Darlene J. Ross Hampton, by his 3 children James S. Hampton Jr. (Nesta) of Cleves, Michael L. Hampton (Deborah) of Aurora & David A. Hampton of Sunman, by his brother Tom Hampton (Donna) of Harrison, by his sister Peggy Campbell of Whitewater Township & by 9 grandchildren & numerous gr. grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother the late Glenn Hampton.
Per his request, there will be no funeral but rather a memorial at his residence on June 16th at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to causes important to him; the Heart Assn. or American Veterans Assn.
