Van Schoik, Jane Eleanor (nee Mueller), wife of 60 years of the late Milton L. Van Schoik, beloved mother of Sharon Arquilla (Rick), Beth Hoendorf (Ray) & David Van Schoik (Amy), loving grandmother of Kristen Thomas (Justin), Amy Craft (Peter), Lauren Horejs (Michael), RJ Hoendorf (Victoria), Rachel Anstaett (Ryan), Matthew Hoendorf (Allyson), Michael & Benjamin Van Schoik & great grandmother of Katherine Jane Thomas, Abigail Thomas, Eleanor Horejs, Caroline Craft, William Horejs, Asher & Blake Anstaett, dear sister of Neila Barnes & Charles Mueller. Passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 91 years of age. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Jane attended PS#152, Packer Collegiate Institute & graduated University of Maryland. She was an active member of Westwood First Presbyterian Church, serving as Elder, Deacon & Trustee. She enjoyed the arts including the CSO, Pops, the Playhouse & served as docent for the Cincinnati Historical Society. She was active in the Oak Hills Schools & was past president of the PTA. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, reader, bridge player & belonged to such groups as Crafty Crew, Bridge Club & a book club. She was a nine holer at Western Hills Country Club. She enjoyed the great outdoors, riding her bike & walking. Visitation at the Westwood First Presbyterian Church, 3011 Harrison Avenue, 45211 on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM. Interment will be private at Spring Grove Cemetery.
