Janet E. Smith (nee Lehrner), 91, September 1, 2024, Miami Township. Beloved wife of the late Howard Smith, devoted mother of Terri White (John), Vicki Miller (Dan), Randy Smith and Traci Bryan, loving grandmother of Dana Cassidy (Andrew), Deanna Brogan, Arik Heinichen, Laura Nagel (Tom), Sean Smith (Kristin), Amanda Smith, Nicki Urra (Josh), Joshua Favre (Bailee), Jessica Moyer (Robbie) and Jeremiah Bryan, loving gr. grandmother of 18, beloved daughter of the late Alma (nee Smith) & Abe Lehrner, dear sister of the late Marlene Falhaber. 

Janet was born on February 8, 1933. She was a strong Christian woman very active in her church and in Christian service. After raising her 4 children, she retired from her career as the head secretary at Robert's Jr. High School, she became a part time resident of the state of Florida. Later moving there permanently. She was very active as a volunteer with Hospice of Marion, FL as well as organizing and heading up the ESOL program at College Road Baptist Church. She was an extremely gifted seamstress and quilter as well as a very articulate public speaker. She loved gardening, reading, watching the Reds play, loved butterflies and hummingbirds as well as many other of God's creatures. She was frugal and prided herself on saving money whenever she could. She enjoyed playing dominoes and sequence with friends. She loved spending time with her family. 

Visitation Thursday, September 5th from 6 PM until time of funeral service at 7 PM at Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, OH 45002. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Hospice of Cincinnati or Hospice of Marion County, c/o the funeral home. dennisgeorgefunerals.com
