Jean C. Walter (nee Hegge), 80, of Miami Heights, died on July 31 at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
She was a homemaker & a member of the St. Joseph Church Ladies Society & a former member of the Auxiliary of the Miami Heights Fire Dept. & the Taylor High School Athletic Boosters.
She was the beloved wife of Raymond J. Walter, the devoted mother of Mary Beth Walter, Rae Ann Merz (Bruce), Thomas J. Walter, Carolyn M. Rapking (Mark), Cathy B. Laake (Tom), Daniel J. Walter (Linda) & Marilyn E. Walter & the dear sister of Betty Uehlein, Audrey Wavra & the late Marilyn Hegge. Also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation Tues., Aug. 3, 6-9 PM at St. Joseph Church, 25 E. Harrison Ave., North Bend, OH 45052. Mass of the Christian Burial, Wed., Aug. 4, 10 AM at St. Joseph Church. Interment in St. Joseph New Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to debt reduction at St. Joseph Church. Dennis George Funeral Home serving the family.
