Jeanette Vollmer Waites

Jeanette Vollmer Spinning Evans Waites, 91, formerly of Cleves, died on Dec. 16, 2011 at her residence in Ojai, CA.
She left OH for CA in 1964 to work at her sister Erma's restaurant, the Oak View Cafe. She became known for her wonderful pies, french toast & roquefort salad dressing while working there.
She was the beloved mother of Gary Evans (Shari) of Cincinnati, Rene Trist of Ojai & Kevin Waites (Heather) of Pine Mountain Club, CA; the grandmother of Garyne Evans (Michele) & Kyle Evans of OH, Jennifer Zbinden (James) of Goleta, Julie Gaynor (Aaron) of Oak View, Nick & Carleigh Waites of Pine Mountain Club; 9 great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews including special great niece Barbie Ann Bugg of Cincinnati. She was preceded in death by her parents William D. & Emma Spinning & by 4 siblings Erma, Eleanor, Francis & William.
A graveside memorial service is planned for 10 AM on Sat., Jan. 28, 2012 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Livingston Hospice, 1996 Eastman Ave., Suite 101, Ventura, CA 93003.
