Joan M. "Nonie" Truitt (nee Dole), 74, of Miami Heights, died on Oct. 1, 2007 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital-Western Hills.
She had worked as a cook at Taylor High School.
She is survived by her children Kim Pruitt (David), Terri York (Barry) & Thomas Truitt (Patty), by her grandchildren Brent, Kara, Maria, Joey, Julianna, Will, Jodi (Mark), Julie & Jason, by her siblings Jim Dole (Gerry) & Jeanie McGlothlin (Red), by her brother-in-law & sisters-in-law June Ritchie (the late Charles), Jerry & Joyce Truitt & by many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James P. "Sharkey" Truitt & by siblings Fred Dole Jr. (Alice); Edward (the late Ruth), Joseph (Hazel) & Robert Schuck.
Visitation Thurs., Oct. 4, 2007, 6-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Fri., Oct. 5, 2007 at 10 AM. Interment following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Dan Heinrich Scholarship Fund, c/o Three Rivers Schools, 92 Cleves Ave., Cleves, OH 45002 or to Hospice of Cinti., P.O. Box 633597, Cinti. 45263-3597.
