John J. Adamson, 83, a lifelong resident of Cleves/North Bend, died on May 23 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the North Bend United Methodist Church, the Miller Stockum Post #485 American Legion and VFW Post #7570.
He was the beloved husband of 61 yrs. of Jean Reiner Adamson, the devoted father of Brenda Sizemore (Dennis), Gail Derstadt (Ron), Karen Adamson & Kuy Adamson (Lisa), the beloved son of the late James & Edna Adamson, the dear brother of Patricia & the late Frances & Betty Adamson & Marietta Wankelman, the loving grandfather of Cara Sizemore Cahill (Adam), Emily Sizemore, Lindsey Derstadt & Josie Adamson & gr. grandfather of Madelyn & the late Timothy Holden Cahill, the nephew of the late Mae, Norma & Ann & the uncle of Marty Sherman (Anne & family).
Visitation Thurs., May 31, 4-6 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6 PM, all at the North Bend United Methodist Church, 123 Symmes (P.O. Box 98), North Bend, OH 45052. Memorials may be made to the North Bend United Methodist Church or to the Parents Group, Franks Adult Center, 5884 Bridgetown Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45248. Dennis George Funeral Home serving the family.
