John A. Brebberman, 103, of Elizabethtown, died on March 1, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a US Army WWII veteran having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He had worked at various times as a machine operator, as a truck driver and operating a Pure Oil station. He was a member for over 50 years of the Elizabethtown United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and served as Sunday School Superintendent and as Chairman of the Administrative Board.
He was the beloved husband of 65 years of Hazel Barrows Brebberman, the devoted son of the late John & Elizabeth (Menke) Brebberman and the dear brother of the late Melinda Bode; Howard, Clarence and Carl Brebberman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, March 5, 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002. Interment with military honors following in Maple Grove Cemetery.
