John A. Dinning, 78, died on July 31, 2008 in Belhaven Nursing Home.
He had worked for Republic Steel for 33 years. He served in the National Guard of Illinois and attained the rank of corporal. He was a member of the Cedar Lake Eagles 2529, American Legion Post 101 and the Masonic Lodge 948.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his son John, his daughter and her husband, Christine and Corey Jacobs; and grandchildren, Bradley and Sarah.
Graveside service Thurs., Aug. 7, 12:30 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Valley Junction Rd., Cleves. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Aug. 9, 10 AM at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Carmel, IN.
