John R. Hearing, 91, of Harrison, died at Shawneespring of Harrison on May 31, 2009.
He was a WWII veteran of the US Airborne, was a retired gauger from Gulf Refinery & was a member of the Snow Lodge #193 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati & the VFW Post #7570 of Harrison, OH.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary Rohrer Hearing, the devoted father of Rose Mary Jacobs (Gene Sr.), Dianne Meinberg, Richard David Hearing (Karen) & the late John R. Hearing III, the loving grandfather of Gene Jr., Timothy & John Jacobs; Michelle Leurck, Brianne Meinberg-Long, Alex & Andrew Hearing & the dear brother of Kay Woodward, Francis Wells, Dorothy Speaks, Jean Monafoe & William Hearing. Also survived by 7 gr. & 2 gr. gr. grandchildren.
Visitation Wed., June 3, 1-2 PM, followed by the service at 2 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Interment following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.
