John J. "Jack" Koons, 81, resident of Sayler Park & a native of Addyston, died on Apr. 25, 2008 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was a retired tool & die maker with F.H. Lawson Co. & a US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Miller Stockum Post #485 American Legion, Cleves, OH & the VFW Post #7570, Harrison, OH.
He was the beloved husband of Doris M. Koons (nee Pigg), the devoted father of Jacqueline R. Carney (Michael), Thomas D. Koons (Debra) & Holly A. Spille (Thomas), the loving son of the late Daniel A. & Ruby (nee Hanks) Koons & the dear brother of the late Daniel G. Koons. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation Tues., Apr. 29, 6-8 PM, followed by the service at 8 PM, at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Pregnancy Center West, 4900 Glenway, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
