John H. "Jack" Voelker, age 75, resident of North Bend, died on May 31, 2006 at his residence.
He was a 1949 graduate of Elder High School, a 1953 graduate of Xavier University, a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army and was President of the John H. Voelker Food Brokerage Co. until retirement in 1996.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Adelaide (Colado), by his children John R.(Sandi), Robert A. (Sharon), Rick (Chris), Tom, James (Judy) & Joe (Sandy) Voelker & Marie (Mark) Olson, by his siblings Mary Faith & Gilbert Voelker, by his grandchildren Rachel, Anthony John, Shelby, Gary, Thomas, Otilia, Corrina, Amanda, Jessica & Addison & by 9 great grandchildren .
Visitation Mon., June 5, 10 AM-12 noon, followed by a celebration of Jack's life with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM at St. Joseph Church, North Bend. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Church, P.O. Box 219, North Bend, OH 45052, to the Elder Alumni Assn., 3900 Vincent, Cinti. 45205 or to Hospice of Cinti., P.O. Box 633597, Cinti. 45263-3597. Dennis George Funeral Home serving the family.
