John E. Waldeck

John E. "Jack" Waldeck, 77, a native and former resident of Sayler Park, died at his Aurora, IN residence on May 23, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Sue (nee Caudill) Waldeck, the dear father of Susan Beth (Michael) Boucek, Carolyn Marie (Chris) Diener, Melinda Sue (Sam) Sala and John Matthew (Jennifer) Waldeck, the cherished grandfather of Sarah (Josh) Cady; Leigh Ann, John and Michael Diener; Vanessa (Steve) Florian, Catherine and Laura Sala; Matthew, Ethan and Joseph Waldeck, the great-grandfather of Jackson Cady and Steven and Benjamin Florian & the dear son of the late John T. & Gladys M. (nee Dye) Waldeck. Retired terminal manager at the Chevron Oil Refinery. Served in the US Navy & the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. Member of the American Legion of Aurora, IN & the Korean War Veterans. Visitation Tuesday, May 26th, 5-9 PM, at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, OH. Services on Wednesday, at 10 AM, at Eden Chapel United Methodist Curch, 150 Dahlia Ave., Sayler Park. Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves.
