John W. Walters, 79, of Cleves, died on January 17, 2009 at Shawneespring of Harrison, OH.
He was a US Army Air Force veteran of WWII & the Korean War, was a Life Member of VFW Post #7570, Harrison, OH and was a CG&E retiree.
He was the husband of L. Frances Johnston Walters, the father of Sherri Newman (Carl), John "Rick" Walters, Carla Beasley & Genne Miller (Virgil) & son of the late John & Cordia (Gooch) Walters. Also survived by 6 grandc. & 2 gr. grandc.
Visitation Tues., Jan. 20, 6-7:30 PM, followed by the service at 7:30 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Memorials to the Delhi Christian Center Kids' Cafe or the North Bend Un. Meth. Ch.
Inurnment in Maple Grove Cemetery with military honors.
