Larry Elvis Jones, 62, died at his Cleves residence on July 7, 2009.
He was a retiree of the Monsanto Co., a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era & Commander of the VFW Post #6428, Addyston.
He was the loving father of Renee Heitfeld & Melissa Posival & stepfather of Justin Bowling (Ashley), the beloved son of Leamon I. & Edith P. (King) Jones, the loving grandfather of Clayton Michael Heitfeld, Lauren Grace Posival & Emma Nicole Bowling, the dear brother of Victoria Jones, Leamon McInelly (Colleen) & the late Colleen & Gary Jones & the loving uncle of Todd, April, Karen & Chelsea. Also survived by his very dear friend Mary Koch & by many more loving & devoted friends.
Visitation Fri., July 10, 7-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Sat., July 11 at 10 AM. Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the VFW National Home for Children-Ohio House, 3573 South Waverly Rd., Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
