Lillian M. "Lil" Willett Blackburn Himes, 79, of Cleves, OH, born May 28, 1930 in Turner Station, KY, died on Oct. 25 at the Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills, Cincinnati, OH.
She had worked as a food service supervisor at the Carroll County Hospital, Carrollton, KY & Hillview Nursing Home, Cincinnati, OH. She was a member of the Cleves Church of Christ & was a 28 year member of the Marvin Chapter #376 OES, Harrison, OH.
She was the beloved wife of Harry L. Himes & the late John P. Blackburn, the devoted mother of Rebecca Ison & John Blackburn both of Carrollton, KY & stepmother of Michael Himes, Karon Stockman & Karol Cannon, the loving grandmother of Kara & Kane Ison & Lorrin Blackburn, the step grandmother of Robert & Sarah Himes, Michelle Rees, Elizabeth Mazzaro, Andra & Walter Cannon IV, the gr. grandmother of Mackinzie Rees, the dear sister of Harrison (Carrollton, KY) & Orville Willett (Ft. Thomas,KY), Elsie Newkirk (Campbellsburg, KY) & the late Ruth McManis (Turner Station, KY) & the dear daughter of the late Ura & Bessie (Easton) Willett. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation Wed., Oct. 28, 5-8 PM, followed by the funeral service at 8 PM, all at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH. Marvin Chapter #376 OES service Wed. 7:45 PM. Additional visitation Thurs., Oct. 29, 5-8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg, KY. Graveside service 11 AM Fri., Oct. 30, Turner Station, KY Cemetery.
