Lucille Maddin

Lucille Maddin (nee Penix), 89, of Cleves, died on March 8 at Hillebrand Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bridgetown. She was a devoted mother & homemaker. She was the beloved wife of the late Silas E. Maddin, the devoted mother of Reda Hollander (Ken), Phyllis Spradlin (Jim), Phillip Maddin (Jeanne), Wanda Anderson (Don), Michael Maddin (Ellen), Kenneth Maddin (Cherie), Deborah Runck (Jay) & Kathy Jung (Steve), the beloved daughter of the late John & Neva (nee Ward) Penix, the dear sister of the late Beatrice Williams; Ingram, Earl & Morris Penix. She was also preceded in death by grandchildren Bryan & Phillip Maddin Jr. & great grandchildren Jake & Lucy Hollander & is survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation Wed., March 13, 5-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002. Private funeral services with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials, if so desired, may be directed to the North Bend Lodge or Hospice of Cinti., either c/o the funeral home.
