Mark Scott Tucker

May 19, 1963-December 4, 2012 Mark Scott Tucker, 49, of Micanopy, FL, formerly of Cleves, OH, went to be with the Lord after losing his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family & friends. He leaves his loving wife Suzanne (Schwartz) Tucker, 2 daughters, Lauren & Madison, his parents Gerry (nee Gabbard) & Orrin Tucker, his sister, Kristie Tucker Cornelius (Randy), 2 nephews, Sean & Brett Cornelius & a niece Sara Cornelius Chipman (Jeremy), his grandmother Flora (nee Barenscheer) Gabbard, & many loving aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Clarence Gabbard, Blanche (nee Bacom) & Silas Tucker. Mark started his career as a jockey riding at various racetracks around the country, ending his riding career in Miami, FL. He then became a trainer at Gulfstream racetrack in Miami. In 2000, he moved his family to the Ocala, FL area and became the trainer for Donald Dizney's Double Diamond farm.
