Mary Ellen Berning

Mary Ellen Berning (nee Bayless), 84, of Bridgetown, died on Jan. 3 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Parish, North Bend & the Seniors groups at St. Lawrence Church and St. Aloysius Church, Bridgetown. She was the beloved wife of the late James G. Berning, the devoted mother of Mary E. Stauffer (Andy) of Harrison & James F. Berning (Veronica) of Harrison, the loving grandmother of Andrew Jr. (Lauren), Elizabeth, Francisca, Ana, Amanda, Brittney, Victoria & James & the great grandmother of Evan & Madalyn. Visitation Mon., Jan. 7, 9:30 AM until Mass of the Christian Burial at 11 AM, all at St. Joseph Church, 25 E. Harrison, North Bend, OH. Entombment in St. Joseph Old Cemetery, Cincinnati.
