Matthew R. Mazzaro, 50, Sep. 6, 2022, Cleves, OH. Loving husband of Cindy (nee Staten) Mazzaro; beloved father of Nick & Joey Mazzaro; dear brother of Dean (Lori nee Taylor) Mazzaro, (Don) Mills; Eric (Roxanne nee Sparks) Bauer and Danny Mazzaro; adoring son of Judith Mazzaro-Bauer (nee Haley) (Dave) & the late Dan Mazzaro.
Matt was a star football player and wrestler at Elder High School. He was a proud member of the inaugural football team at The College of Mt. St. Joseph where he met Cindy and then worked as an assistant coach. He spent many years working at The Miami Corporation while coaching his sons' various youth teams before finishing his degree at Mt. St. Joseph University. He then obtained a Masters Degree from Bradley University and subsequently worked as a recovery counselor, humbly serving the west side community. He loved the Bengals, the Reds, coaching, playing poker and traveling, especially to a sunny beach.
