Melvin J. Bending, 86, formerly of Western Hills, resident of College Hill, died on June 25,2007, at Mercy Hospital, Mt. Airy Campus.
He is survived by his children Janice L. Bending (Tim Pence) & Patricia E. Boehnlein (Jack), by his grandchildren Lauren Aldaz (Jorge), Allison & John Buschle & great grandchildren Nathan, Neil & Melanie Aldaz, by his sister-in-laws Gladis and Kathleen Wieland, and by his many nieces and nephews including Mariann Bending and Susan Birkhimer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jenelda E. Wieland Bending and 2 siblings George Bending (Anna) and Alfred Herman Bending.
Memorial services were held on June 29,2007, at the Campus Center of Llanfair Retirement Community, College Hill.
Memorials to Am. Cancer Soc. or Arthritis Foundation.
