Michael B. Majikes, 52, of Miami Heights (Cleves, OH), former resident of Cherry Hill, NJ, died on Oct. 3, 2007 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital-Western Hills (Cincinnati, OH).
He was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service, a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ (Cincinnati) & an avid Notre Dame fan & collector of sports memorabilia & flags.
He is survived by his wife Denise A. Wooton Majikes, by his daughters Michelle Swartzentruber & her husband Calvin of Chicago, IL and Melissa Majikes & her husband Chip Stacey of Ft. Wayne, IN, by his siblings Barry Strittmatter (Linda) & Marilyn Pater (James Jr.), by his mother-in-law Phyllis Pfaff Wooton, brother-in-law Darrell Wooton & sister-in-law Deborah Wooton.
He was preceded in death by his parents Esther May (Dunbar) & Bernard Majikes.
Visitation Fri., Oct. 5, 2007, 5-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH. Funeral Sat., Oct. 6, 2007, 10 AM at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 4418 Bridgetown Rd., Cincinnati, OH. Entombment following at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Wm. Barrett Research Fund, 234 Goodman Street, ML 0757, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
