Michael E. Markin, 51, of Harrison, OH, a native of the Francesville, IN area, died on Oct. 1, 2007 at the Mercy MediCenter Harrison, Harrison, OH.
He had worked as a heavy equipment operator in gravel mining. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Francesville.
He is survived by 2 sons Ryan Markin (Michelle) & Travis Markin (Bridget) of Knox, IN; by his companion Shirley "Sis" Hollingsworth; by his parents Donald & Carolyn (Hoover) Markin of Francesville, IN; by his sister Chelle Gutwein (Roger) of Cincinnati, OH; by his grandchildren McKenzie, Zachary, Kaylee & Jadyn; by his niece & nephew Elijah & Cassie; by his stepchildren Terry Hollingsworth Jr., Vicki Mahoney & David Hollingsworth & by stepgrandchildren Terry, Megan, Tyler, Jessica & Erica.
Memorial services will be held on Thurs., Oct. 11, 2007 at 5 PM (Eastern Time) at the First Christian Church in Francesville, IN.
Inurnment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Francesville, IN at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the family or to the American Heart Assn.
