Michael T. Monaghan, loving husband of Chris (nee Schill) Monaghan for 43 years. Devoted and caring father of Doug (Kapreese Hofmann) Monaghan. Doting “Grandpa” of Kaleecie and Jaxtyn Monaghan. Dear son of the late John and Mary Monaghan. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother David and his nephew Tim Monaghan. He is survived by his sister-in-law Brook Monaghan and his nephew Drew (Dave Dibley) Monaghan. Son-in-law of Joan and the late Arthur Schill. Caring brother-in-law to Diane and the late Mike Schill, Greg Schill (Eileen Glawitsch), Julie Blake (Ricardo Parales), Dianne (Don) Schroder & Jenny Armitage (Glenn).Survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Passed away suddenly on March 9, 2023 at the age of 69 years.

Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Mike’s greatest pleasure in life were his two grandchildren that he adored. He was a devoted supporter of the University of Cincinnati, the Bengals, and the Reds- a true hometown fan!
Mike loved traveling the world, experiencing new places and just having fun with his “Midge” Chris. He also enjoyed being outdoors and “playing” a round of golf.
Mike was a dedicated and loyal employee of Sandvik Coromant for over 35 years. He retired in April of 2021. Since then, Mike liked nothing better than to relax, drink a Bud light, play with the grandkids and laugh with family and friends. Mike was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
