Nancy M Kane

Nancy M. Kane (nee Brown), 80, Mar. 27, 2023, Cincinnati, OH. Nancy, with her faithfulness and love of God, touched countless lives. A devoted and loving mom, grandma(nanny), daughter, aunt, cousin, friend, and teacher. We will be forever blessed by the love, kindness, determination, and passion with which she lived life. When she wasn’t spending time with loved ones, she was sewing blankets for local charities, playing the piano, sharing her love of music with her students, baking, going to the symphony, and enjoying nature. Through her life and example, Nancy taught us the importance of hard work, of living life in service of others, of letting music flood your soul, of lifting our hearts to God in daily prayer, of the joy of laughter, of kindness, of being there for others and of holding loved ones close to your heart. Her legacy will live on in the lives she has touched. Nancy was the devoted mother of Kathleen C. Kane, Sharon M. Martin (the late Sean) & Marlene A. Kane (Jennifer Melms), loving grandmother of Taylor Martin, beloved daughter of the late Catherine (nee Gadwood) & Frank Brown & dear sister of the late Jerome, Richard & Judith Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nancy was a musician and educator, with a career teaching piano and voice in her private studio, inspiring students as a music educator in parochial schools and serving as a parish musician. Her affiliations included the OH Music Teachers Assn., the National Federation of Music Clubs & the Northern Hills Piano Teacher Forum. Family and friends are invited to join the family for the Mass of Christian Burial, Tues., April 11 at 11:00am at Corpus Christi Church, 2014 Springdale Rd., Cinti. 45231. Visitation will be at the church preceding mass from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment following mass in Spring Grove Cemetery.
