Norbert James Ratterman

Norbert James "Jim" Ratterman, 88, of Covedale, died on Jan. 10,2011, at Hillebrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Green Township.
He was retired as a corporate relations specialist for the U.S. Postal Service, a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army, a member of the St. Antoninus Church, Purcell Council K of C, National Assn. of Postal Supervisors and National Assn. Ret. Fed. Employees.
He was the beloved husband of the late Irene C. Fath Ratterman, the devoted father of Janice Barlow (Russ); Tom (Carol), Paul (Kim) & the late Jay Ratterman, the loving grandfather of Ryan, Doug, Julie, Jeff, Kim, Scott, Rusty, Christopher, Rebecca & Will & great grandfather of Sienna & Ramsey & the dear brother of Rita Lindhorst & the late Robert Ratterman.
Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 15, 9:30-10:30 AM, followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, all at St. Antoninus Church, Julmar & Linneman Rds. Luncheon reception immediatedly following Mass.
Interment with military honors in St. Joseph New Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Fisher House Foundation, Inc., c/o Dennis George Funeral Home.
