Oakley Addison, 82, resident of Independence,KY, formerly of Cleves, died on June 24,2007, at his residence.

He was a truck driver, a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy, a lifetime member of the DAV, and a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Tampa Fl.

He is survived by his wife Beulah F. Wells Addison, by his daughter Sharon K. Goins,and his 524 foster children over 41 yrs. Dear brother of Myrtle Chase, and JoAnn Addison, loving grandfather of Sherri Stone, Angela Coffey, Brandi Menefee & Kimberly Goins & great grandfather of Craig & Tiffany Stone, Michael & Danielle Coffey, and Kayla Menefee, also survived by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandi Hyden (Charles), 1 sister Imogene Page, and 1 great grandson Bryant Stone.

Funeral services were held on June 27,2007, at the Dennis George Funeral Home, Cleves, with interment following in Miamitown Cemetery, Miamitown.
