Phyllis Pfaff Wooton, 86, of Bridgetown, died on Jan. 29,2011, at Hospice of Cinti. at Mercy Hospital, W.H.C.
She was a retired educator from Three Rivers Schools, a Western Hills HS class of 42 & Miami of Ohio class of 46 graduate, a lifelong member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ & co-founder of Pilgrim Day Care & a member of the Ohio Education Assn. & the Hamilton County Teachers Assn.
She was the beloved wife of the late Monroe Wooton, the devoted mother of Deborah L. Wooton, Denise A. Majikes (the late Michael) & Darrell C. Wooton, the loving grandmother of Michelle Swartzentruber (Calvin) & Melissa Stacey (Christian) & great grandmother of Makora May & Boden Michael Stacey, the dear daughter of the late John & Margaret (nee Loffink) Pfaff & sister of the late Harvey (Betty) & the late Gilbert (Grace) Pfaff.
Services will be held on Thurs., Feb. 3, 2 PM at the Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 4418 Bridgetown Road, Bridgetown. Interment in Bridgetown Cemetery. Reception following interment, at the church.
Memorials, if so desired, to Pilgrim UCC, c/o Dennis George Funeral Home.
