Raymond Joseph Walter, 83, of Miami Heights, died Dec. 13 at Western Hills Retirement Village.
He was a retired letter carrier with the US Postal Service, a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of St. Joseph Church in North Bend, the St. Joseph Council of the Knights of Columbus & American Legion Post #0888 in Columbus, OH.
He was the beloved husband of the lateJean C. Hegge Walter, the devoted father of Rae Ann Merz (Bruce), Carolyn M. Rapking (Mark), Cathy B. Laake (Tom); Mary Beth, Thomas J., Daniel J. (Linda) & Marilyn E. Walter, the dear brother of Rosemary Englekamp, Irene Malone, Bernadette Moning, Agnes Bussing, Lawrence & James Walter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation Mon., Dec. 19, 6-9 PM at St. Joseph Church, 25 E. Harrison Ave., North Bend, OH 45052, where the Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Tues., Dec. 20 at 10 AM.
Memorials may be directed to debt reduction at St. Joseph Church or to Hospice of Cinti.
