Robert D. Cartmell, 74, of Green Township, died on Feb. 3, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a Duke Energy retiree & a US Army Korean War veteran.
He was the beloved husband of Mary L. Marsh Cartmell, the devoted father of Babs Harter (Mike); Pete (Debbie), Mike, Randy (Diane) & Rick Cartmell; Kellie O'Connell (Dan), Mark & the late James Cartmell & the dear brother of Eugene (the late Pat), Ronnie (Betty) & Gary (Bev) Cartmell. Also survived by 14 grandc., 6 gr. grandc., 3 step grandc. & 8 step gr. grandc. Preceded in death by his parents Earl & Wilma (Harvey) Cartmell & Mary's parents Harry & Lil Marsh.
Visitation Fri., Feb. 6, 11 AM-1:45 PM, followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 1:45 PM, all at St. Joseph Church, 25 E. Harrison Ave., North Bend, OH.
Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves.
Memorials, if so desired, to St. Jude Childrens Research Hosp., 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to Hospice of Cinti.
