Robert A. Gruen

Robert A. Gruen, 88, of Miami Heights, died on May 31, 2015, at Hospice of Cincinnati Western Hills. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris M. Seissiger Gruen, the devoted father of Bob, Dave (Peg) & Steve (Nancy) Gruen; Kathy Fay (Skip), Nancy Moore (Jeff), Amy Ammon (Randy), Patricia Biederman (Stewart); Don (Jenny) & Dennis (Nancy) Gruen, Krista Triplett (Jon) & the late Eddie Gruen. Also survived by 90 grandch. & gr. grandch. & preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Kathryn (nee Jennings) Gruen & 7 siblings. Bob was the retired General Manager of Baxter Concrete Products, a Coast Guard veteran of WWII & a member of the DAV. Visitation will be Thursday, June 4, 9:30 AM until Mass of the Christian Burial at 11 AM, all at St. Joseph Church, 25 E. Harrison, North Bend, OH. Interment will follow, with military honors, in St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati.
